Cardiovascular Consultants of South Florida is the new name for South Broward Cardiology Consultants. Our name reflects our new geographic boundaries in Broward and Dade counties with offices in Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Weston, Plantation and Aventura. The group is comprised of thirty one physicians with specialties in clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology (heart's electrical system) and vein and vascular medicine (Dr. Susan Fox provides non-surgical treatment of varicose veins). We welcome our newest associates Drs. Orihuela, Schneider and Simkins in Tamarac.

Our cardiovascular group stays on the cutting edge bringing new technologies and the latest advances in clinical cardiology to our patients. Our clinical research program partners with the pharmaceutical and device companies so that we can bring the newest drugs and devices to our patients even before they are available to the public. AVENTURA OFFICE

On August 1, 2006 we moved our Aventura office into the new Aventura Medical Office Building on the grounds of Aventura Hospital located at 21097 NE 27th Court, Suite 302 (3rd floor), Aventura, FL 33180. Our new office is extremely attractive with granite counter tops, marble floor, and a large and comfortable waiting room. The office is connected by bridge on the second floor to a new parking garage that was built to service this building. There are five doctor consultation rooms, 9 examination rooms, ultrasound, echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and laboratory drawing. Drs. Wayne Pollak, Michael Braun, Ethan Siev, Lawrence Reiss, Raul Mitrani, Richard Pollak and Gary Donshik have office hours in the new Aventura Suite.

Our physicians see patients by appointment only. Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm

APPOINTMENTS
To make an appointment, please call the office where you wish to have your appointment scheduled. For your convenience, we will confirm your appointment by telephone. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify the office 24 hours prior.

Our appointment desks open at 8 AM, close for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 PM and stay open until 5 PM. To make an appointment or for general information call 954-965-4900.

EMERGENCIES
Our physicians are available 24 hours a day in case of emergency. When the office is closed, our answering service will contact the physician on call and you will receive a phone call as soon as possible.

Insurance Accepted

Fees & Insurance

The fees in our office are comparable to those charged by other area physicians. At the completion of your visit, you will receive a statement showing the services performed and the cost. We appreciate patients who are prepared to pay for their services at the time of the visit, and will be happy to submit your claim to your insurance carrier upon payment.

We require payment of deductibles and co-pays at time of service. Medicare assignment is accepted for all our patients. If you have secondary insurance, please provide the information when you sign-in. Please be aware that Medicare does not cover routine testing for screening services. For tests that are not covered, you will be requested to sign a waiver indicating that you accept responsibility for these services.
